Scientific Dust Collectors® manufactures a full line of Baghouse Dust Collectors to meet the needs of your specific operation. For over 40 years, SDC has provided customers with unmatched cleaning performance due to our superior cleaning system that employs our Patented UniFlow Supersonic Nozzle™ to clean the filters more effectively than any of our competitors.
From small to large jobs, IAS offers cartridge dust collector systems that are designed to handle many applications, including welding smoke, grinding, cutting tables, media blasting, sanding, thermal spray, coating, bulk powders and many more dust-producing processes.
IAS provides complete turnkey dust collector system design and installation.
Compact yet extremely durable, these cyclone dust collectors are constructed with an internal Helix, coupled with a tapered cone design for superior
particle capture. Options include standard energy-efficient backward inclined wheel fans, or self-cleaning, radial-blade fans that optimize airflow and suction requirements. Versatile and space-efficient, they're perfect for any location, ranging from 800 to 12,500 CFM of air flow.
Industrial downdraft tables are built to withstand the most demanding applications. With a ventilated, dual-sided work surface, you can configure the this downdraft table to suit dozens of industrial applications. Welding fumes, smoke and dust are captured right at the source so indoor air quality remains uncompromised. As standard, the downdraft table comes fitted with multi-stage spark arrestor for fire prevention and dual 10” exhaust silencers for noise reduction. An automatic reverse-pulse filter cleaning system reduces overall maintenance requirements.
High vacuum dust collection systems used with appropriate vacuum-assist tools, remove virtually all sanding or cutting dust and fumes right at the source, eliminating them before they get into the air.
The high vacuum systems are ideal for source capture when used with vacuum assist hand tools, such as sanders, grinders, saws and routers. With hand tools, a high vacuum system (10″ to 100″ Water Column) is necessary to offset friction losses with small diameter hoses (1″ to 2″ vacuum hoses).
Ambient dust collectors are easy to install and are less costly than source capture systems. They provide efficient removal of common airborne dusts from industrial process applications including smoke, fumes and dust. Dirty air enters one side of the weld fume collector and is trapped in the filters and clean air is exhausted. The dust collectors can be suspend from the ceiling with chains/threaded rod or hang on the wall with brackets.
